Jelena Zikic, PhD (University of Toronto, Rotman School of Management) is a Professor at York University, School of Human Resource Management. Her research focuses on career transitions and associated challenges of diverse populations (migrants, baby boomers, remote workers, unemployed, expats and others). In her work, she seeks to bridge micro type phenomena, such as professional identity with more macro-organizational processes (i.e., remote work, integration of diverse workforce). 

 

Dr. Zikic has significant international background, cross-cultural research collaborations, and varied teaching experience. Her work has been recognized by several Research Awards and has appeared in top ranked journals in her field such as Academy of Management Discoveries, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Human Relations, among others. Jelena’s practical advice has been featured in the media and outlets such Harvard Business Review.
