John Henretta is an Emeritus Professor of Sociology at the University of Florida. His research in the sociology of aging over the last decade has focused on life course dynamics related to retirement, health, family structure, and intergenerational transfers. His primary current projects focus on topics of family intergenerational transfers, family demography, and health.
